Stylist Job Description

We're seeking a talented and experienced Hair Stylist to join our team! As a Hair Stylist, you'll provide exceptional customer service, cutting-edge hairstyles, and maintain a clean and welcoming environment for our clients.

 

*Responsibilities:*

 

•  Provide haircuts, coloring, styling, and other services to clients

• Consult with clients to understand their desired look and preferences

•  Stay up-to-date with latest hair trends and techniques

• Maintain a clean and organized workstation

• Build and maintain a loyal client base

• Collaborate with other stylists and salon staff

• Meet sales and service targets 

 

*Requirements:*

 

•  Valid cosmetology license

•  1+ year of experience as a hair stylist

•  Excellent communication and customer service skills

•  Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

•  Knowledge of various hair types and textures

•  Portfolio of work (optional)

 

*Preferred Qualifications:*

 

•  Experience with all hair types and hairstyles

•  Certification in specialized styling techniques (e.g., natural hair services, haircuts, extensions, color correction, etc.)

•  Familiarity with salon software and management systems
